Do you want to know one of my favorite details from this Seattle Lifestyle Newborn Photography Session? It’s that this is the THIRD time I’ve had the pleasure of documenting an important milestone in Chris and Melanie’s lives! First was their engagement session, second was their wedding. Now I have the pleasure of meeting their newest addition to their family, baby Kailer. And what a CUTIE! Of course Opal (The cutest dog in the world) was there, never leaving their sides the whole time. They really are a perfect little family, and I adore my forever clients like these guys.
I get asked a lot on what kind of newborn sessions I do and what’s the difference between types of newborn photography sessions. So I wanted to answer those a bit today too!
I do what’s called Lifestyle Newborn Photography. This in all it’s essence, is capturing your family how they naturally interact with each other. We take a few cute portraits too of course, but these sessions are really about documenting this special stage in your lives.
The other type of newborn photography out there that I do not offer is Posed Newborn sessions. You’ve probably seen those photos of babies wrapped in muslin wrappings in baskets or propped up on their arms. That requires special training to do safely and also a studio really, so I don’t offer those at this time.
If you are wanting lifestyle photos of your new arrival, let me know! I would love to capture this special time.
