Miranda and Asif | Loews 1000 downtown Seattle wedding

Meet newlyweds Miranda and Asif:

With only a handful of family members in attendance, Miranda and Asif tied the knot at Loews 1000 hotel in downtown Seattle. It was a quiet Monday, and the February air was crisp which made the city feel really romantic and cinematic. Here are 3 of my favorite things that happened on their wedding day:

  1) The city! I loved that Miranda and Asif chose to get married in downtown Seattle. The urban backdrop was unique, romantic, and made me want to book a trip to NYC ASAP! I had never been to Loews 1000 before their wedding day, and I have to say I am OBSESSED. The whole place is covered in velvet pillows, beautiful blue, and floral details and the bathtubs are the craziest thing I’ve seen (water pours out from the ceiling people!). I will definitely be making up excuses to stay at Loews 1000 because it is dynamite. It was such a cool venue for a wedding!

2)The guest list. I loved that Miranda and Asif chose to have a very intimate, small ceremony. The entire afternoon was relaxed and stress-free. Miranda and Asif’s family was so friendly and welcoming, and Asif’s grandma is the cutest thing in the world. I’m so happy I was able to capture sweet moments with them, like when the couple told her the story of their rings (see photos at end of post). Which brings me to my third point…

  3) Their rings! Holy moly people I have never seen anything sweeter than the engravement on Miranda and Asif’s wedding bands. Miranda said for the last 8 years any chance she got to make a wish, she would wish that she and Asif would get married. She didn’t want to jinx herself though so whenever Asif would ask what she wished for, she would never tell him. Her wedding band says “what did you wish for?” and Asif’s says “I wished for this.” Excuse me while I go grab a box of tissues…

Miranda and Asif – I’m so happy for you two! Thank you for asking me to be a part of your wedding day; I feel so lucky to have been a part of such a beautiful Seattle Wedding.
